How I Lost Belly Fat Using Only 3 Pound Weights

Would you believe me if I told you I only used 3 lb weights for an entire 8 week program? What if I told you I toned my arms and abs, and lifted my booty BIG time with those weights, all while staying low impact? Yep, you heard that right!

The other great improvement I saw over these 8 weeks (well 10, because life isn’t perfect and neither is my fitness journey) was my flexibility. I strengthened my hips, knees, ankles, etc. which has taken pressure off of my entire body. A bootcamper of mine said she saw improvement in a broken ankle that had been taking forever to heal. How amazing is that!?

So, if you hate high intensity, or maybe its just a season where you need to slow ‘er down, this program is for you! I did everything during these 8 weeks from dropping my weights, cursing, etc. because it is TOUGH! You will feel the burn and maybe curse too, but the trainer’s positivity will outshine any cuss words you throw at the TV!

Did I mention you can do this entire program from the comfort of your own home? Which is great, because HOME is the only place we can be these days. Um, who’s ready for that to end?? Anyways, the only equipment I used was a yoga mat, weights (grab some canned peaches if you don’t have weights!), optional resistance loops and something to occasionally lean on. I used my dresser, the wall, etc, but tall stools or tables work great too!

I can’t wait to get back into higher intensity workouts, but think I will create a program mashup so I don’t lose my newfound booty and flexibility!
